Aruba Tourism


”One Happy Island” is the special term given to Aruba. The locals, the food, the culture, and especially the environment are a part of what makes Aruba a home to all and what drives guests to return time and again. “The Aruba Effect” was a campaign launched five years ago with a goal to bring “One Happy Island” to social feeds globally. Beginning as a designer/video editor I worked with our Creative Director and Strategist to implement the social approach that gives followers this feeling of warmth and happiness on-island.

My role has grown to be a Senior Art Director for the team, overseeing a team of designers + editors, concepting content ideas and leading social shoots on the island.

ARUBA SOCIAL SHOOT
In October 2023, a small team of agency creatives including myself ventured to the country of Aruba to execute our first social shoot. We developed a shot list and production plan, working with on-island producers to strategize the best methods for a successful shoot. The intent of the trip was to shoot stills and video footage to create organic social content for the next several months. Below is a small compilation of still photos I shot with my DSLR that we have used primarily for Instagram purposes.
